No Greater Love

Water Ripples 101_3657 - Version 2

With joy all over her face, one of the readers of the “The Power of Compassion”,  poured out these words (quoted and shared with permission):

“Your book gave me hope that God could help me with my struggles like He helped you. It encouraged me to go back to finding out more about Him, and I decided to go back to church with my daughter. And as I am moving toward God, I am noticing little blessings that are happening in my life. Your book also inspired me to be more thankful for the people in my life and reach out to reconnect with family. I can’t wait for your next book to come out!” ~Margaret

I have gotten encouraging feedback about my book, but the above is one of my favorites because the main desire for my writing is for it to inspire confidence in others that they can move toward God and be met with love, forgiveness, and friendship.  The more I hang out with Jesus, the more my heart feels His heart ache for others to draw near to Him in intimate companionship.   His compassion propels me to serve Him in His quest for a close relationship with each person He created.

I am thankful that Jesus is the remedy for my guilt and brokenness.  I have experienced the relief of knowing that in spite of my shortcomings, and mistakes, He feels that I was worth dying for, and that He transforms my weaknesses to strengths in the midst of a friendship with Him.  No one is too guilty or broken to be a friend of Jesus. No one can love, heal, and empower like He can.   This is why I love to be with Him, and to write about Him.

“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”    John 15:15 (NKJV)
