I have a confession to make. Marketing my latest book is not comfortable for me. It feels so self-promoting even though my heart is to share my story to inspire and help others. I started out strong and then neglected it.
I had a dream the other night that startled me and shifted my perspective. Symbolically in the dream, God reminded me that I may have given birth to this book, but it is Him that knitted and weaved it in my heart. Page by page, I did my best to record the awesome things God has done through some tough times, and added messages and counsel that I sensed Him giving me to share.
Because of the stirring dream the other night, I now have a distinct impression that God wants the book to thrive and I have to do my part to share what HE GAVE ME THE STRENGTH (YAY GOD!) to complete — especially after the long hours and months of writing, praying, editing and computer issues, and the new life curve balls that tempted me to be discouraged in the process!
I am feeling very grateful for the feedback that I have gotten. Below, I am sharing some of my favorite quotes from the handful of online reviews I have received. I am hoping it gives any potential readers out there an idea of what Brushstrokes of Heaven is about.
Starting today, the printed book is listed on Amazon.com for a 10 DAY Holiday discount of about 1/3 off the regular price, and the ebook is 1/4 off on Amazon Kindle. Click on the sidebar link if you want to check it out!
Merry Christmas and a heartfelt thanks to anyone who purchases my book for themselves or someone they love, or to hand to a stranger in need of hope!
Many, many blessings to you and yours! And remember, God sees you, He knows you, and He loves you!
